Welcome to Your 2021 Annual Enrollment (AE)!

October 14 – October 30, 2020

This is your once a year opportunity to make changes to your benefits and add or drop dependents to your coverages.  Changes to your benefits or dependents you cover under your plans cannot be made at other times, unless you have a qualifying life event (QLE) such as marriage, divorce, birth/adoption, loss of coverage.  So, please take the time to review and understand your benefits and your options, and make your selections for 2021 benefits during Annual Enrollment, Oct. 14 – Oct. 30, 2020.

**Team members who will be transitioning to HCA Healthcare benefits for 2021 are being notified. If you are part of this group, you will be sent specific instructions in early November on how to enroll in your benefits for 2021. The HCA Healthcare Annual Enrollment for benefits will open on November 11. You will not need to sign up for 2021 Mission Health benefits.

Special Note for those newly-eligible for 2020 benefits during the 2021 AE period:

» If you are newly-eligible for 2021 benefits during AE, you MUST complete the 2020 New Hire/Newly Eligible for Benefits enrollment and submit prior to your 2020 effective date of coverage.

If you do NOT enroll prior to your 2020 benefits effective date, you will have these default benefits for 2020:

  • No health coverage
  • 1 x base salary for Life and AD&D coverage
  • 40% Short-term and Long-term Disability coverage

Please submit your 2020 benefits and ALLOW 1 DAY FOR PROCESSING before going into the Annual Enrollment system to submit your 2021 benefits elections!

You should also review the 2021 plan changes detailed in the Annual Enrollment materials.

If you want any changes to your 2020 benefits for 2021, or if you want to participate in a Healthcare or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account for 2021, you MUST submit your Annual Enrollment before your 2020 benefits effective date.

If you do not complete your 2021 Annual Enrollment prior to your 2020 benefits effective date, your 2020 benefits will rollover to 2021 (except for the Healthcare or Dependent Care FSA).
