Asheville Tourists to Host Mission Health Nurses Appreciation Day

We all know that being a nurse is serious business. So in honor of nurses and the work they do caring for patients across our region, the Asheville Tourists will be hosting a Mission Health Nurses Appreciation Day on Sunday, May 12.
Game Day Information
- Who’s playing? – Asheville Tourists vs. Greenville Drive
- Where’s the game? – McCormick Field, 30 Buchanan Place, Asheville
- What’s the significance of May 12? – The day marks the end of Nurses Week and the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
- When does it start? – Game time is 2:05 pm
A limited number of complimentary tickets will be available to Mission Health RNs, LPNs, CNAs and APRNs on a first-come, first-served basis. We’re sorry! All complimentary tickets have been claimed. Tickets can still be purchased through the Asheville Tourists box office.
How to request your tickets
To request tickets, email Cheri Fleming at Cheri.Fleming@HCAHealthcare.com with the subject line “Asheville Tourists.”
Please include your name, work location and the number of tickets you are requesting. Vouchers will be provided that can be exchanged at McCormick Field on game day, or in advance of the day of the game during regular box office hours.
