The Chance to Make an Impact: A Message from Mission Health’s United Way Campaign Chairs

Dear Mission Health Colleagues,

In times of change, staying connected to the familiar things can be especially important. Things like our annual United Way Campaign, which is getting a real boost because of our relationship with HCA Healthcare.

This year your United Way donation will have an even bigger impact than usual: HCA Healthcare will match gifts of $25-$500 to this year’s United Way campaign – that’s double the impact of your dollars alone!

Just as it’s done for many years in this community, United Way continues to improve lives and create opportunities for a better life for all. Instead of focusing on one single cause, United Way focuses on hundreds of them, helping the community as a whole.

Today, we are inviting you to add your contribution to the gifts of your colleagues here at Mission Health and throughout our communities to support this important work.

On Monday, November 4, you will receive an email with a unique link to the ePledge system – it couldn’t be easier to give! Your donation will be directed to your community or designated non-profit, wherever you live across our region. You will receive a reminder email every week with the opportunity to give until the campaign ends in mid-December.

A contribution to United Way is more than a charitable gift – it is an investment in the future of our community. Your contribution, combined with another person’s, and another person’s, (and matched dollar-for-dollar for gifts between $25 and $500) adds up to a tremendous difference in our community. A contribution to United Way’s Community Investment Fund will impact areas of need around education, income, and health.

Your contribution does make a real impact. With your help, we can show this community that our caring extends beyond the walls of our facilities, and into the areas of deepest need. Thank you for considering a gift to this year’s campaign.

Sincerely,

Ruth Zyry                                                       Karen Vernon
