Investing in Our People – Mission: You Brand Campaign Viewing
At Mission Health, we take pride in the quality care we provide to our patients. The only way we could do this is through our exceptional team members. Whether you have been with Mission Health for years or only a few months, know that you make a difference in our community.
In 2019, we introduced Mission Health’s new brand campaign, Mission: You. As we continue to build upon this brand, Mission Health’s Marketing and Communications team wants to give all our team members a chance to see Mission Health’s most recent additions to the Mission: You brand campaign. The Marketing and Communications team worked closely with HCA Healthcare corporate to plan and produce an ad campaign based on the well-received community letter by Greg Lowe. It was a team effort, executed in record time. The messaging highlights Mission’s positive contributions to our community, our patients and you, our team members, over the past year.
Investing in You
Taking care of our team members who continuously provide for our patients, results in better care for our patients and their families. Last year, we invested in our team members more than ever before – including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment and raising pay for team members who play critical roles in the care and outcomes of our patients.
We are continuously thankful for our dedicated team members and want to ensure that at Mission Health, we provide tools and programs that allow our team members to grow within their careers and are set up for success.
Investing in Our Patients
As a health system, our patients trust us to provide the highest-quality of care at all times. One way we provide the best care is by ensuring all our patients have access to our services, regardless of insurance or financial barriers. Last year we provided approximately $252 million worth of financial assistance, including charity care and uninsured discounts to patients who couldn’t pay for it themselves. That’s $100 million more than the year before.
Investing in Our Community
Not only do we invest in our team members and patients, our care goes beyond our walls. We are proud to play a part in the local communities we serve and understand the importance of these relationships.
One way we contribute to our communities is through taxes. In fact, we paid $8.9 million in new property taxes that goes to building civic infrastructure and funding vital public services, such as parks, schools and roads throughout western North Carolina.
