During this time of increased worry and uncertainty, we want to share with our team members additional resources for you to explore. From building resilience to childcare resources to checking in on your investments, we want to ensure that you can easily access these tools. Behavioral Health and Stress Management Support

Stress Management

We are experiencing unprecedented times right now, and it’s normal to feel sad, stressed, confused, scared, or even angry during this time. Our Employee Assistance Network can help. Take advantage of secure and confidential video or telephone appointments for counseling services. Please call 800-454-1477 to access these services.

There are several other resources to help support your mental health which include these tips for anyone coping with stress and this on-demand webinar about how to manage stress and anxiety in the face of a pandemic.

Nurse Care

Nurse Care is a confidential and free program designed to help caregivers like you. Nurse Care is a resource available to hospital-based nurses at Mission Health. Please note, your primary work assignment must be at a hospital for you to be eligible to use Nurse Care.

Nurse Care is a network of experts from Charles Nechtem Associates, a nurse assistance program administrator with 35 years of experience providing services to caregivers. They are licensed psychologists, social workers, alcohol and drug counselors, and marriage and family therapists who have the experience and connections to give you a hand with whatever you need.

Care for YOU

The Care for YOU team provides 24- hour care to you, the staff and physicians at Mission Health. If you are experiencing a normal reaction to a stressful event or outcome (also called “second victim”), we can help.

Our goal is to help our health care team members understand what is known about this phenomenon and help employees quickly return to their satisfying professional practice. The program is open to any Mission employee.

Special Hotel Benefits for Caregivers

As HCA Healthcare CEO Sam Hazen mentioned in his message last week, Mission Health and HCA Healthcare are offering a special, complimentary hotel option to caregivers who provide direct care for COVID-19 positive patients or COVID-19 persons under investigation (PUIs). Coverage will apply during the pandemic period (currently through June 27, subject to change).

This benefit is available for the days the caregiver is working at a patient care facility and for up to five days following an onsite shift caring for a COVID-19 patient or PUI. Hotel arrangement requests should be submitted using this form by the prior Wednesday for the upcoming week. Learn more here.

So today, the Hope Fund is announcing a special financial assistance program to help with childcare costs for our working parents.
