COVID-19 Testing and Reminders

  • If you are symptomatic and need to be tested, please visit MyCareNow or another testing site in the community. Employees with any symptoms that mirror a cold, sinus infection, flu or COVID should be tested. WorkWell cannot test employees for COVID-19. Please do not call or visit WorkWell to be tested. Call WorkWell AFTER you are tested to report any positive result. Call WorkWell AFTER you are tested to report a negative result, only if you are symptomatic.
  • If an employee has been exposed or potentially exposed and are 100% asymptomatic, they are safe to continue working.  Employees do not need to get tested if they are exposed and 100% asymptomatic.  If any symptoms develop, employee should be tested as instructed above.

Important: With COVID cases rising again, even if you are not normally required to wear an N95 mask, you are welcome to wear a non-fitted N95 mask. Non-fitted N95 masks are available at most entrances and nursing stations. If you are wearing a fit tested N95 mask, please only wear the size you have been tested for. If you are due for a new fit test, you may schedule by calling WorkWell at 828-213-9600,  Option 1 or go to one of these upcoming fit-testing clinics at Mission Hospital.
