Expanding Graduate Medical Education in western North Carolina

You may see some new faces in the halls of our hospitals starting in July. As we continue to invest in North Carolina’s health care through training the next generation of clinicians to help meet the growing needs of our community, we have the privilege of hosting more than 150 residents/fellows in our facilities. Through our rigorous graduate medical education program, our learners will have the opportunity to care like family while earning a world-class education.

HCA Healthcare is committed to developing the nation’s largest network of teaching hospitals, and at Mission Health it is no different. By partnering with Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC), we remain committed to the care and improvement of human life here in western North Carolina. Starting in July, we will be helping to facilitate more than 150 residents/fellows in 15 different programs rotating through our Mission Health facilities.

As you see some of the faces, displayed below, please help welcome them to our Mission Health family.
